Coinbase launches the trade between crypts for retailers
Coinbase users can now exchange their cryptocurrencies directly with other cryptocurrencies
The consortium is incorporating support for the crypto to crypto trade for its retail clients, with a feature that has been available for a long time for professional digital currency trading services.
The new feature will be called Coinbase Convert and users of Coinbase.com and Android and iOS applications can exchange pairs of bitcoins in the coming days.
Coinbase Convert will accept trading pairs between bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies bitcoin cash, ethereum, ethereum classic, litecoin and 0x. The new system allows customers to convert directly one cryptocurrency into another one, an advanced innovation.
The exchange began to implement the modality last week, with small groups seeing how the transactions between the new pairs worked. The function will be implemented gradually in each of the different countries in which Coinbase offers native payment access.
Professional business services use such currency pairs to take advantage of price fluctuations. Retail users will use them for more profitable purposes.
