China and the United States start new negotiations period

Both nations will continue with the talks which seek to end the commercial war that has existed for some time

This Thursday, a new round of negotiations between the United States and China begins in Beijing, with respect to a possible end to the trade war between the two nations.

Sources related to the organization of the event assure that the leader who will lead the negotiations for the US, Steven Mnuchin, arrived yesterday in China.

According to the secretary indicated in previous days, it is expected that in these negotiations there will be “important advances“.

The second part of the talks will be held next week in Washington. In a public ceremony held a few days ago in the United States, Mnuchin acknowledged that the negotiations are “coming to an end”, a position that has also shared publicly the American president, Donald Trump.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang emphasized the fact that during this week “progress has been made substantially” and that they will continue working to reach the long-awaited agreement.

The negotiations started today in China will have a second part from May 8th in the United States, where a delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Liu He will travel.
