Chile will host cryptocurrency event
The Chilean capital will host a hackathon, which will gather multiple lovers and followers of blockchain technology on August 3 and 4
This Friday 3 and Saturday 4 of August will be held in the city of Santiago de Chile a “hackathon” that will gather the followers of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain.
This activity has the sponsorship of the Chilean government, companies like IBM and ecosystem companies such as NEO and ConsenSys.
According to the organizers of the event, the idea of this is to discover new ways of using blockchain technology in the different areas of national development.
Participants will have 18 hours to present their pilots and there will be different thematic focuses, such as: finance, health, international trade, energy, among others. The winners of each area will participate in an acceleration program with an incubator of Chilean startups.
Those who win this event could develop a pilot test based on the idea created during the hackathon.
