CHERR.IO, a blockchain for charity campaigns
The platform wants to break with the way in which traditional charities work, guaranteeing traceability and the total auditability of transactions
After twelve months of continuous work, finally the CHERR.IO platform has seen the light and is in public token pre-sale until next May 30. The project, born in Slovenia, will aim to give a new view to the world charity foundations.
Created in the Ethereum blockchain, CHERR.IO is “breaking” with the way traditional charities work, guaranteeing traceability and the total auditability of transactions. At the moment they have the advice of Jacob Papageorgiou, Giovanni Lesna, Vladimir Nikitin, Melinda Woolf, Niko Slavnič and Gray Jabesi.
With the launch of its crowdsale scheduled for next June 1, the fundraising platform wants to “improve and expand the processes of existing charitable donations, increasing their transparency and reinforcing the confidence that people have in organizations of this type”.
The co-founder of CHERR.IO, Aljaz Straser, declared that for them “charity work is about people, that’s why we gave them the power to decide.” Our community chooses who and where their donations will go.
It should be noted that they have received quite high classifications in known ICO lists, made by expert reviewers. In addition, they are the first to use an gamified mechanism on a charity platform.
