Canon Ivy Rec Camera, the new compact tool for outdoors

The innovation will come with 13 megapixels, higher levels of resistance, with a very delicate size and the appearance of a keychain

The small camera will be funded by Canon and will be presented as a pop-up option that will allow users to portray their moments with a lightweight device.

The Canon Ivy Rec will feature a minimalist design ideal for having outdoors with the size of a flash drive and a keychain tip along with a 13/3-inch CMOS sensor and 13 megapixels that can record videos at 1080p / 60 fps.

The square clip section can be doubled like a primitive viewfinder, plus this ultra-compact camera will come with a shock and water resistance system that will give users up to 30 minutes for depths of up to three feet.

The company will allow users to view and share the shots through the smartphone by connecting the camera wirelessly via WiFi or Bluetooth to the complementary application Canon Mini Cam.

The project is part of the company’s new strategy to capture as many new customers as possible, especially those occasional photographers who want to keep small moments of their daily routine without carrying large equipment.
