Burger King Spain to launch voice orders service from home

The fast food company signed an alliance with Amazon to launch voice orders service from home or from the office with Alexa

Through an alliance with Amazon, Burger King Spain works to offer customers voice order service from home or the office as of October 30th using the virtual voice assistant Alexa.

The fast food firm is committed to innovation and has developed a tool for Alexa which allows consumers to order the menus Whopper, Long Chicken or Double Cheese Bacon XXL with their voice. Clients can also track the status of the order.

The marketing director of Burger King Spain, Bianca Shen, said: “We are delighted to work with Amazon, and very proud to be one of the first companies in the fast food sector in Spain to offer this service. We’re looking forward to saying: Alexa, open Burger King to place an order!”

Burger King Spain currently has more than 750 restaurants, approximately 17,000 employees and a turnover of more than 1,000 million euros.

For his part, the vice president of Amazon Devices International, Jorrit Van der Muelen, said they are very excited to work with the fast food chain. In the same way, he maintained that placing an order with voice message from the comfort of home or the office is a wonderful experience.
