The companies Viação Garcia and Brasil Sul, from GBS Group, hope to incorporate Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin very soon

Brazilian transportation system announced the adoption of payment of tickets through cryptocurrencies. They are initially accepting Bitcoin. The companies Viação Garcia and Brasil Sul, from the GBS Group, are the first to join this initiative, to which they hope to add Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin very soon.

In the need to offer greater efficiency in the system, as well as comfort to the public transport users, representatives of the Brazilian transportation sector adopted the measure of digital currency payments through the website of the company selected by the interested party.

It’s the first sector of the Brazilian economy to accept cryptocurrencies as a legal means of payment for services. Although the common people still do not show confidence regarding cryptocurrency, the Brazilian economy continues adapting to the new digital ecosystem.

Regarding the purchase of bus tickets through the web page of the aforementioned companies, the users only need to click on the icon that indicates “payment with Bitcoin”, enter the equivalent amount, scan the code supplied by the site and confirm the transaction. They will receive the voucher and the respective receipt for the service in their email account.

With this initiative, Brazil moves forward into the digital revolution where blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, startups and digital finance are currently trending.
