Bitmain launches antminer miner for Zcash

The company dedicated to the manufacture of cryptocurrency production equipment announced the launch of the new Antminer Z11

One of the most important companies in the manufacture of cryptocurrency miners, Bitmain, launched a new antminer dedicated to the production of the Zcash digital asset.

The announcement was made this week, detailing that the new Antminer Z11 has three times more hash power than its previous version, and that this new ASIC hardware is designed to mine cryptocurrencies based on the Equihash algorithm.

On the other hand, the company explained that this miner has a 12-nanometer chip which will help to take better advantage of the energy. This is possible thanks to its innovative internal circuit structure.

In addition to this announcement, Bitmain said it has ready new update modules for one of its most popular products with the launch of a 7-nanometer processor named BM1397.

However, the news during this wave of launches were not all possitive since the company has not yet managed to carry out its long-awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO), due to the concerns of the stock exchanges about the sustainability of its business.
