BitGo announced the purchase of the Harbor platform

The company enters the world of digital values with this new acquisition allowing to create a new digital infrastructure

The digital asset custody company BitGo has announced its new acquisition Harbor, an online platform for digitized securities.

The information was provided by BitGo CEO, Mike Belshe, in a statement to Cointelegraph on February 18. “The acquisition of Harbor fosters BitGo’s vision of building a new digital infrastructure for financial services.”

Accordingly, the purchase is significant for the trust company because BitGo obtains control of the companies derived from the platform that include brokers and transfer entities.

For his part, the CEO of Harbor, Josh Stein, highlighted “the close collaboration to integrate the BitGo Business Wallets and the Custody of BitGo in the services of Harbor.”

It also ensures that your company “provides BitGo with a stack of complementary technology for the life cycle of digital values, as well as important service capabilities through our digital asset brokerage and transfer agent subsidiaries.”
