BitFlyer offers bitcoin purchases at 0% commission

The feature is only available for the pair of BTC / USD operations performed by US customers

The Japanese cryptocurrency exchange platform, BitFlyer, has launched a campaign in which it exonerates the commercial BTC / USD commissions and will only be available to BitFlyer USA customers. However, the company informed that any changes will be reported with a few weeks in advance.

The exchange is based in Japan and has a subsidiary in Europe, and BitFlyer also operates in 47 US states and territories as a carrier of a major cryptocurrency license known as BitLicense, which allows crypto businesses to legally provide related crypto services in the state of New York.

According to the BitFlyer website, the company usually charges 0.00000001 BTC or a satoshi for “transaction unit” of bitcoin. The usual BitFlyer withdrawal rate for bitcoin is 0.0004 BTC which is equivalent to 3,7 dollars, while that of Ether (ETH) amounts to 0.005 ETH or about 0.9 dollars at the time of publication. There is also a $ 10 fee for transferring USD out of a bitFlyer account.

The exchange company, after announcing the campaign, noted its first commercial competition in the US called Trade Grand Prix.

The next contest is open to all American users and will reward the top 10 traders with a total of $ 1,600 based on their weekly and daily trading volumes. According to the information published in an email to Cointelegraph, the contest will begin on February 10.
