Bitcoin ATMs will increase around the world

A study done by Research and Markets revealed that by 2023 there will be at least 145 million dollars in bitcoin ATMs worldwide, an amount that would represent an annual figure of 54.7% growth.

Currently, the ATM market stands at 16.3 million, according to the Coin ATM Radar site, with at least 3,687 units in more than 70 countries around the world.

The information shows that at present the one-way ATMs are at the forefront of the market, since at least two thirds of the current units have this modality. In addition, more than two thousand units could be located in the United States.

The investigation showed that the United States will remain at the forefront of the market as one of the countries with the most automatic cryptocurrency ATMs, although Japan and Germany are also making inroads in this area.

Before this positive outlook, however, the study warns that regulatory uncertainty could have a negative impact on the growth of the industry within several countries, as well as the lack of understanding about the operation of the regulations.
