Bitcoin ATMs increase 5 % around the world

From 7,010 ATMs that were operational, they went to 7,386 during the month of March

According to the information provided by the firm Coin ATM Radar, for the month of March 7,010 bitcoin ATMs that were operational amounted to 7,386. Even the same figures were reported in a report by Bitcoin ATM Market Dynamics March 2020.

Both firms highlight that in the same period, 484 new ATMs were installed, and 108 devices were also deactivated, which reports a definitive increase of 376 devices compared to the beginning of the year.

According to statistics, the United States, the world leader in cryptocurrency ATMs, reported an increase in the incorporation of its cryptocurrency exchange platform for fiat money of 355 teams, to reach a total of 5,194. Canada also joins the list with an increase of 12 ATMs, as does the Netherlands, which increased its number with 5 new teams.

An increase in the sale of machines was also reflected in the Latin American continent, with Peru as the only country with new ATMs, followed by Panama.

In general terms, it can be said that there are 7,386 ATMs available globally, of which 7,381 have support for the cryptocurrency classified as “market pioneer”.
