Binance will create Blockchain Charity Foundation in Malta
Binance teamed up with the presidency of Malta to launch charity platform to empower the poorests
Binance and the Presidency of Malta signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create the Blockchain Charity Foundation. The objective will be to provide assistance to the most vulnerable communities and empower them, as well as to make aid initiatives more transparent.
According to the signatories of the document, the foundation based on blockchain technology should change in the next few years the vision of charity work in the world.
Binance spokespersons have underlined the purpose of the use of the blockchain for the social good, which represents the basement of the Charity Foundation, which will be chaired by Helen Hai, goodwill ambassador of the Organization for Industrial Development of the United Nations.
After the signing of the document, Malta authorities trust that through the foundation they can develop socio-economic projects, together with programs to measure their impact on the population.
The objectives of the foundation do not leave aside important aspects such as economic, humanitarian, environmental and technology fields, among others.
