Bank of America filed a patent for data management

The agency informed through the media that the system will automatically indicate which devices communicate in a network and will identify the data they share

Bank of America, the second largest in the United States, filed a patent for a new data management system based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

It is a tool that will allow the entity to know immediately which devices are connected to the network as well as the data they share, and which gives greater freedom to the clients.

The information was released by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Among the details of the system that are specified in the patent is highlighted that users can manage the communication of up to eight devices and may prohibit, block or limit the data that is communicated to third parties.

This is not the bank’s first initiative in adopting innovative systems. At the beginning of 2018, it had already taken steps in this direction with the registration of an authentication system for personal and commercial data of customers based on blockchain technology.

In May they registered a security system, in June the data validation and more recently, in August, they patented their application for the tracking and validation of user identification. These advances demonstrate a strong investment in blockchain technology.
