Bancamiga supports quality medical care at San Juan de Dios Hospital
The institutional alliance reaffirms the bank's social commitment to healthcare services for the most vulnerable families and those most in need
Bancamiga made a significant donation to San Juan de Dios Hospital in Caracas, with the main objective of strengthening the operational capacity of the healthcare center and ensuring that more Venezuelans have access to top-tier medical services.
As a financial institution committed to the country’s development, Bancamiga focuses its social responsibility efforts on fundamental pillars such as health and social well-being. With this contribution, the bank actively joins the mission of San Juan de Dios Hospital, a non-profit institution dedicated to raising funds to support the most vulnerable families, providing them with excellent care and helping them overcome their health problems.
“Financially supporting San Juan de Dios Hospital is an investment in the lives and futures of thousands of children and adults who find in this center a light, a hope, and answers to their medical needs with the highest standards of service, human warmth, and professionalism,” highlighted José Simón Elarba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga.
For his part, Dr. Luis Azpurua, Medical Director of San Juan de Dios Hospital, thanked Bancamiga for its support and clarified that the money received will be invested in medical equipment, always with the intention of serving the population, especially those most in need.
“We want to provide healthcare services to the middle class and those most in need at a reasonable price,” the doctor emphasized.

A health ally
San Juan de Dios Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in Caracas, thanks to its multidisciplinary team and infrastructure adapted to the needs of the population. In 2025 alone, this institution provided outpatient care to more than 25,000 people.
The medical center offers a wide range of services and 36 medical specialties. These include pediatric and adult specialty consultations; a diagnostic and laboratory unit; surgery; and a physical rehabilitation area.

“We are making it clear that there is a God who welcomes and heals everyone. Bancamiga should feel happy and proud because, with God, they are trying to spread goodness,” said Julio Gonzalo Parada, General Director of San Juan de Dios Hospital, regarding the bank’s act of solidarity.
With this alliance, Bancamiga and San Juan de Dios Hospital are consolidating a joint effort that transforms social responsibility into concrete actions, ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to those who need it most.
