Bancamiga celebrates twelve years of successful operations

The Venezuelan bank Bancamiga arrived on Tuesday to its twelfth anniversary reinforcing its commitment to the country, the economy and progress.

“12 years with you” is the slogan of Bancamiga, Banco Universal on its website, as a clear reference to the support it provides day to day to its customers, supporting its goals and providing impulse to social commitment.

Since its creation, in 2007, the private capital organization has specialized in the granting of microcredits to key sectors for the development of Venezuela such as transport, commerce and goods and services.

In 2011 it became a microfinance institution to comply with government requirements. “This transformation has been highly positive for customers and users as well as for employees, because now it allows us to provide all financial operations, including specialized ones, and to be more competitive in the banking market,” according to their website.

Alberto De Armas, CEO, has highlighted the bank’s participation in alliances with the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (Unicef), as well as the Tatuando Sonrisas Foundation and the Explora Group linked to environmental conservation. This information has also been underlined by the spokesman Carmelo de Grazia.

Bancamiga has grown over 12 years of operation, considerably increasing its client base as well as the number of agencies in the national territory. It has renewed its commercial appearance to boost the brand and, of course, is connected to the clients through social networks with its official accounts on Twitter and YouTube.
