Bakkt will start testing future bitcoin contracts in July

The company is working on the creation of physical bitcoin, with the support of ICE Futures US and ICE Clear US

The business platform of regulated cryptocurrencies, Bakkt assured through a press release that for the month of July will launch their physical bitcoin.

The person in charge of reporting this was the CEO of the company, Kelly Loeffler, who explained that they have been working closely with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission of the United States (CFTC) to achieve this objective.

For this development the company has received the collaboration of ICE Futures US and ICE Clear US for the creation of these assets.

In the coming weeks they will work towards the user acceptance tests (UAT) for future and custody.

Although no specific dates are specified, the CEO provides some details about their futures.

Two types of bitcoin futures contracts will be listed: one of daily settlement, with which customers can perform transactions on the same day, and another monthly, which will allow trading in the previous month with the future price curve.
