Australia to launch a cryptocurrency backed by local dollar

Two consortia partnered to create and launch in 2019 the first stable cryptocurrency backed by the Australian dollar

Currently the creation of stable cryptocurrencies has caused a kind of fury and Australia does not escape to this trend. These cryptoactives are designed to maintain a constant price and seek to offer speed, globalization and decentralization.

The Bit Trade exchange house and the blockchain platform of Emparta jobs are responsible for incorporating in Australia the stablecoins in order to increase the confidence of traders and investors and serve as a structure for financial applications based on blockchain.

According to James Hill, co-founder of Emparta, the prototype for the new asset is already being developed. It could be ready in about five weeks. He also said that the launch is planned for 2019.

Although the name of the cryptocurrency has not yet been announced, it was known that it will be a key player in the Emparta Employment Infrastructure, Identity and Payments platform, as stated by the general manager and co-founder of Bit Trade, Jonathan Miller.

For his part, the general manager of Emparta, Adam Sarris, said that “the need for a reimbursable currency backed by the Australian dollar is essential for a broader adoption of the digital currency market in Australia and the world.”
