Asus introduces new compact Mini PC PN50 computer

The device has an AMD Ryzen 4000 processor and support for an 8K 60Hz monitor

Asus has presented a new compact computer, Mini PC PN50, equipped with AMD Ryzen 4000 processors, with support for WiFi 6 connectivity and a monitor with 8K resolution at 60HZ. It’s 115 x 115 x 49 mm and has a volume of 0,62 liters. Includes Radeon Vega 7 graphics and memory support up to 64GB DDR4-3200 MHz high speed.

This equipment supports up to 8K resolutions at 60 Hz or a maximum of four 4K monitors at 60 Hz. It also includes a port that users can configure as they prefer, as the company reports in a statement.

WiFi 6 (802.11ax) connectivity offers high-speed data transfers even in crowded environments, and the two USB-C ports support data transfers and DisplayPort output over a single cable.

Asus has integrated into this computer with two front microphones and an infrared sensor, which allows applications to be controlled through a remote control. It also supports HDMI CEC, a function that allows you to wake up the monitor from standby mode or turn on the Mini PC PN50.

At rest, the Asus Mini PC PN50 consumes 10W, which helps you to reduce environmental impact and operating costs. It is also silent, as pointed out by the company, since it generates 21.9 dBA in standby and 34.7 dBA at full load.
