Apple’s iPhone 5G will be launched in 2020

Users will enjoy the new models based on 5G technology and with Qualcom's baseband in a few months

Apple’s iPhone with 5G support will hit the markets in 2020, according to information revealed by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from the company TF International Securities.

The information that has been leaked refers to the launch of three new models by the technology giant. The models will be smaller than those currently sold in the various markets of the world.

The analyst at TF International Securities also revealed that the new iPhone 5G will have Qualcomm’s baseband for the MMWave markets. Among the preferred suppliers for commercialization are Broadcom (designer) and Win-semi (manufacturer).

The future models will have OLED screen; “one of low-end with 6.1 inches and two of high-end with 6.7 inches and 5.4 inches respectively”. Apple has stated that it will add the feature in Safari that blocks the tracking of online advertising.

As expected, with the launch of new models to the market users will have to make updates, particularly with respect to the high-end models.
