The measure will come into force with the next update of its iOS mobile operating system

Apple announced that in the next update of its iOS operating system will be eliminated iPhone USB access to prevent hacking by police forces that have gained access from blocked ports.

According to Apple spokesmen, when the new settings are applied by default, the Lightning port will be disabled. The port used for data transmission, sound and recharging of the device, one hour after the device is blocked.

The anti-hacking measure will be effective making possible the recharging of the device but blocking access to the user’s personal data. It works for other devices that allow the installation of a software to decipher the access code to the iPhone.

The client, his comfort and security, are the main thing for Apple. They work to offer the customer the greatest protection, as well as applications and equipment that allow them optimal communication and the greatest security against hackers and identity thieves.

Apple has worked for more than five years on measures to offer security to its customers, particularly in the United States. The measure of elimination of USB access to the iPhone is the crystallization of Apple’s effort. Users expect the same measure to be applicable in other countries.
