Apple is accelerating development of a new gaming app, which is expected to arrive this year as a replacement for Game Center.
According to information related to the app, it will debut on iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16. It will also be available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV.
Details could be revealed during the WWDC 2025 keynote, which will take place on June 9, “and would become the replacement for Game Center starting with the updates to iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16,” according to reports.
In this regard, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has indicated that the new app will also be coming to Apple TV. “The Californian company’s idea is for this app to become a sort of hub that helps strengthen its position as a heavyweight in the gaming world.”
Once the updates to iOS 19, iPadOS 19, macOS 16, and tvOS 19 are released, the new gaming app should appear pre-installed on all compatible iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs.
