Apple has announced a new event that will be held on October 13 at the Apple Park in Cupertino (United States), the usual setting for its major presentations.
The invitation sent to journalists by the company was cryptic, as usual, with the following message: “Hello, speed. Join us at Apple’s special event in Apple Park. Follow it on apple.com”, although the reference to speed is easily interpreted as a nod to 5G.
The slogan of the event is “Hi, Speed”, something that could be related to the 5G connectivity that is expected to have at least one of the four models of the next iPhone 12.
The Cupertino firm traditionally presents its new phones at the major hardware event held in mid-September, but this year, due to logistical problems arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, that date passed without a new iPhone. .
