Apple announces activation of FaceTime video calls service

The company announced that it has solved the software problem that led to the deactivation of the service

The US company Apple reported through a statement that it has solved the technical problem of its software that forced the multinational to suspend the group video call service in FaceTime.

According to the note, Apple indicated that the service will be available again as of this week. The mechanism allows the receiver to be heard even if he has not responded.

The multinational pushed its team of engineers to identify the problem, and found that it was a bug in the software. The error occurred once the iPhone user tried to initiate group communication.

Days before they could identify the problem the company had received the report through the mother of a young man from Arizona, who tried to use FaceTime without success.

In his statement, Apple said: “We are committed to improving the process by which we receive and circulate this type of information within the company so that they reach the right people within the company as quickly as possible.”
