Appeal against Neymar’s accusation in Brazil is dismissed

Brazilian police dismissed the resources that Juliana Lopes Bussacos had presented against the Paris Saint Germain striker (PSG)

The Police of Sao Paulo (Brazil) has not found conclusive evidence in its investigation into the Paris Saint-Germain Neymar Jr footballer for the accusations of rape by a young Brazilian.

The person in charge of the investigation, Juliana Lopes Bussacos, estimated that there is insufficient evidence to accuse the player after terminating it and now the Prosecutor’s Office has 15 days to decide whether to heed this recommendation and definitively close the case, or move forward with the accusation.

The model Najila de Souza accused the Brazilian striker of having sexually assaulted her on May 15 at a hotel in Paris, where both had been summoned, but the attacker denied at all times the facts, ensuring that everything had been consensual.

The Brazilian soccer player was being investigated for a second crime, which has its origin in the cyber area.

The second police investigation is for cybercrime since Neymar went to Instagram to share the exchanges of text messages with sexual load that occurred between him and the model after the alleged violation. This, he said, in order to prove that their interactions were agreed upon.
