Thanks to the contribution of Bitrefill, the company Airbnb will allow its customers to cancel the rent of the rooms with cryptocurrencies.
This was announced by the Swedish-based company through its official Twitter account, which will now have the service to convert Airbnb’s gift cards to bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, and other crypto assets.
Currently, the company’s gift cards can be redeemed exclusively by United States residents.
Airbnb is a company that offers a software platform dedicated to the offer of private and tourist accommodation through which the hosts can advertise and contract the rental of their properties with their guests.
This is not the first sample of support to the cryptocurrencies since last year one of the investors of the company –Jeffrey Wernick– indicated that “everyone should invest a percentage in cryptocurrency”.
