Exodus launched its wallet for web browsers

Cryptocurrency wallet Exodus launched its web browser extension for decentralized finance or DeFi transactions. The extension is available for Google Chrome and Brave browsers.

With the Exodus browser wallet, users will be able to buy, sell, and trade digital currencies, as well as issue, sell, and display NFTs. Investors also have the possibility to access the “different Web3 projects, bet Solana and see the history of their cryptocurrency savings, as well as being able to buy cryptocurrencies with debit, credit cards or bank account.”

The Exodus wallet is considered to be the first to provide access to more than 100 cryptocurrencies. Last December 2021, it enabled the Lightning network that allows operations with bitcoin and is currently emerging as a new competitor in the DeFi ecosystem market.

Exodus expansion plans

Exodus plans to expand in the decentralized finance (DeFi) market, and for this it plans to integrate with other protocols soon.

According to the information provided by Exodus, the high fees charged by the Ethereum network limited starting with said network, and they decided to launch with Solana. “The high fees of the Ethereum network make it difficult for new users to access this ecosystem, despite still being the most popular network in the DeFi ecosystem,” it pointed out in the statement.
