Crypto platforms top executives to testify before the US Congress

Senior officials from major cryptocurrency platforms in the United States are due to appear before Congress on December 8

The CEOs of the main cryptocurrency trading platforms have been called to testify on December 8 before the Financial Services Committee of the United States House of Representatives.

The Committee specified that the appearance of the main executives of these platforms will serve to better understand “the challenges and benefits of financial innovation in the United States.” This was announced by Maxine Waters, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, this Wednesday.

According to the information provided, Jeremy Allaire, Circle CEO; Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of FTX; Brian Brooks, CEO of Bitfury; Chad Cascarilla, CEO of Paxos; Denelle Dixon, CEO of Stellar Development Foundation and Alesia Haas, CEO of Coinbase and CFO of Coinbase Global.

The audience, called “Digital Assets and the Future of Finance: Understanding the Challenges and Benefits of Financial Innovation in the United States,” will bring together the most experienced executives and managers of platforms that are setting the standard in cryptocurrency trading in the country and other regions.
