The main objective of the measures, of which the details were not indicated, is to avoid speculation, fraud and other crimes that violate the good faith and the trust of the investors. Minister El Aissami indicated that they will fight to avoid distorting the national economic system.

Bank accounts that are involved in speculative trends and intend to destabilize the investment will be severely punished. The minister said that recently they have identified price patterns comparable to the unofficial dollar and that the measures aim to control and eradicate this situation.

The control measures will also apply to the pages of fraudulent promotion of transactions in cryptocurrencies, in addition to the protection of Petro, the Venezuelan digital currency. On the other hand, they will supervise the import of mining equipments.

It is important to highlight the difficulty that currently represents for the Venezuelan market the transit towards a new monetary system, which favors speculation and the capture of confused and naive investors.
