Vivo works on a smartphone that changes color

The Chinese company unveiled part of the project for a smartphone that acquires another color with the click of a button

Through a promotional video published in Wiebo, the Vivo company unveiled its new project in the field of smartphones: a device that changes color. It is actually a discoloration that occurs in the housing when the user pushes a specific button.

Vivo has indicated that the technology, which is not new, consists of the placement of an electromic glass plate on the back of the phone. The board is made from a material that uses voltage changes to change the color or tone of the case, ranging from deep blue to silver or a range of gray.

In order for this function to be activated, the person must press a button located on the side and once this has been done, an electrical signal is activated that causes the transparency to change. And, of course, the function is deactivated by pressing the same button again.

We will still have to wait a little longer for this technology to be implemented in the high-end smartphones of the Chinese brand. However, expectations grow in users interested in this novelty, after watching the video of Vivo en Wiebo.
