SIA Blockchain allows to play live stored videos

The cloud storage platform launched its version v1.3.3 to the user community

SIA, the decentralized storage initiative in the cloud has just announced the release of its version v1.3.3 that allows users to store and play live the videos of their choice. The best part of the announcement is that it will be possible for a very low cost.

The project is based on blockchain technology to optimize the loading times of the files. Users who want to try it just need to download the SIA tool to their computer to run the platform.

Once the client uploads a file to the network, the platform will send it in 30 or more encrypted, separate and uploaded parts on several servers. Later, other users will be able to see the content through a URL that is played in any application that supports videos.

The novelty is that the videos can be played on the fly instead of having to wait for the storage on the disk of the SIA instance. Users who love audiovisual content will enjoy significant time savings.

It is important to note that currently other platforms such as Amazon TV and Netflix offer the video storage service at really low costs, which is why SIA has also launched this option at a competitive cost.
