Volkswagen increases its profits in the first six months of the year

The firm distinguishes itself from other car manufacturers such as BMW and Daimler, who currently publish weaker numbers and forecasts

The world’s largest automobile manufacturer pulls out all the stops and earns 10 billion euros in the first six months of the year. In addition, it presents more than solvent results based on the “Dieselgate” exit strategy.

Figures show that Volkswagen AG generated a profit of almost 2 billion euros more than the same period last year. Undoubtedly, it distinguishes itself from other car manufacturers such as BMW and Daimler.

The brand increased its operating profit by almost 30% to 5.1 billion euros. There are reasons for the favorable diagnosis, such as the turnover that increased by almost 7% to 65 billion euros.

The manufacturer, with its twelve brands, continues to expect an increase in sales of up to 5% and an operating performance of special items between 6.5% and 7.5%.

The key seems to be in sales in Asia and in adapting the brand to the new sales platforms. The figures are certainly a relief for the directive, which faces a new phase of diesel fraud.
