Venezuela and Palestine approved the binational “Petro Fund”

After a diplomatic meeting between the presidents of Palestine and Venezuela, the nations agreed to carry out a wide range of measures to improve international relations and political and economic affairs, thus producing a “strategic alliance that seeks to promote the global adoption of Petro“.

The presidents Mahmoud Abbas and Nicolás Maduro held a press conference announcing that among the decisions taken   is the creation of a Binational Fund to “promote technological and industrial development”.

For this reason, Venezuela will make an initial contribution of 20 million PTR, a cryptocurrency recently created by the state and officially adopted in accordance with a legal decree, which would amount to a total of 1,200 million dollars, according to official figures.

“I have proposed that Palestine assume, within the framework of the agreements with Venezuela, an investment with us through our crypto-currency Petro, and that a binational fund be created for the technological development of our peoples”, President Maduro announced in a tweet .
