India and Argentina establish commercial agreements
Mauricio Macri, president of Argentina, recently traveled to the Republic of India accompanied by a large group of businessmen to start trade of agricultural products and food to the Asian country
In the most recent visit of Argentine President Mauricio Macri to the Republic of India, both countries signed eleven agreements to boost the export of agricultural products to the Asian nation.
Macri met with the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to detail the protocols of the agreements on defense, tourism, broadcasting, information and communication technologies, nuclear energy, pharmaceuticals, agroindustrial cooperation, agricultural research, Antarctica and Energy.
Through the signing of these agreements both nations open the way for exports to India of products such as lemons, eggs, fishmeal, ground bone, oranges, tangerines, grapes, blueberries, nuts and “yerba mate“, among others.
The agreements on technology, communication, broadcasting involve the exchange of knowledge and experiences, scholarships, as well as other initiatives that allow the strengthening and development in both territories.
Regarding energy, undoubtedly issues such as sustainable consumption, alliances to reduce polluting emissions or adherence to agreements such as the International Solar Alliance will be addressed.
