The Venezuelan Ministry of Transportation announced that cargo flights to and from Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, will resume this Wednesday, August 5, as a step toward recovery following the earthquakes of June 24.
According to a statement released on Friday, July 31, by the ministry via its social media channels, the Venezuelan government seeks to “restore airport operations in compliance with civil aviation operational safety standards and current national and international regulations.”
