Join Bancamiga and bring hope to Children’s Day

This Saturday, the bank will open its branches to collect toys and bring joy to the communities affected by the earthquakes of June 24th.

Recognizing the transformative impact of a gift, Bancamiga will be collecting toys at 48 branches nationwide this Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, in celebration of Children’s Day. A stuffed animal, a toy car, a doll, a ball, or a children’s wellness kit (new or in perfect condition) will represent a heartfelt embrace from our customers to the affected communities.

Children’s Day is much more than a date on the calendar; it’s the perfect opportunity to remind children how precious and loved they are. This year, the celebration takes on an even deeper meaning following the events of June 24th.

Bancamiga employees will receive these donations this Saturday to distribute them on Sunday in La Guaira. The bank invites citizens to visit branches with their children to enjoy a special day, where the little ones will also receive a Kids Card as a gift, ideal for taking their first steps in the financial world with awareness and education.

An unwavering commitment

The toy distribution is part of the meticulous contingency plan that Bancamiga initiated from the first day of the emergency to support the affected areas. This strategy includes the creation of a special fund with preferential rates, grace periods, and simplified procedures for individuals, businesses, and SMEs.

The plan also includes receiving funds from abroad without fees, restructuring loan portfolios, directly distributing drinking water, milk, mattresses, and non-perishable food items, along with waiving point-of-sale fees and providing free replacement of the Bancamiga Mastercard Debit Card.

At Bancamiga, every employee is convinced that rebuilding the future begins by protecting children’s present. The bank’s statement concludes with an invitation: Come to any of our branches this Saturday, bring a toy, and give the gift of a smile. We’ll be waiting for you!
