Fedecámaras proposes National Investment and Employment Plan

With the goal of promoting favorable economic laws and job creation in Venezuela, Fedecámaras launched the National Investment and Employment Plan

Fedecámaras President Felipe Capozzolo recently launched the proposed National Investment and Employment Plan, which will soon be submitted to the authorities for analysis.

The purpose of this plan is to promote the creation of between 10 and 15 % of formal jobs in Venezuela, as well as boost the economy.

According to Capazzolo, “Fedecámaras’ National Investment and Employment Plan would allow the business sector to serve as a vehicle for promoting regulations such as the Special Economic Zones Law, in order to boost Venezuela’s productivity and finances.”

The president of Fedecámaras believes that “the domestic market must grow.” In this regard, he referred to the need to create jobs “within the framework of a virtuous economic cycle” and added: “The first step is for private companies to be able to manage these assets; companies have a life of their own and must grow.”

Regarding boosting the economy, he indicated that they will continue working to promote local businesses and achieve greater diversification of these economic agents.
