Venemergencia celebrated its 21st anniversary musically in a concert with El Sistema

For Dr. González-Silén, “more than counting years, we celebrate touched lives, open doors, and restored hope"

Venemergencia, a leading primary care company in Venezuela, celebrated its 21st anniversary with a concert of traditional Venezuelan music at El Sistema headquarters in Quebrada Honda. On this special occasion, the “Simón Díaz” Venezuelan Music Orchestra, conducted by maestro Edward Bogado, performed a repertoire of pieces that represent and highlight the cultural richness of the different regions of the country where the company offers its services to increase access to healthcare for Venezuelans.

The performance was accompanied by a narration by journalist María Laura García, a specialist in the health sector and brand ambassador. Likewise, the founding physicians of Venemergencia, who are the heads of the organization, Dr. Andrés Simón González-Silén, Dr. Luis Enrique Velásquez Díaz, and Engineer David Galavis, addressed the audience to thank the support of commercial partners and institutions that played and continue to play a decisive role in the organization’s growth.

“After 21 years of tireless teamwork, we can say, without a doubt, that our goal of providing greater access to healthcare is not a dream, but a reality that has been consolidated in each of our services, our partnerships, and our upcoming goals,” said Venemergencia’s founding partner and Executive Director, Dr. Andrés Simón González-Silén, who added: “More than counting years, we celebrate touched lives, opened doors, and restored hope.”

For his part, Dr. Luis Enrique Velásquez Díaz, Operations Director of Venemergencia, stated: “At the beginning of this story, it was Andrés and I teaching first aid courses. Today, the Venemergencia Group has more than 1,000 employees, offering our services in 90 cities across the country. We have eight locations, six of which are Urgent Care clinics, and in September, we opened our seventh Urgent Care clinic in the city of Maracay. In June alone, we served more than 52.000 patients through our ecosystem of services.”

Placing the human being at the center

For his part, Engineer David Galavis stated, “We are proud to be building a platform that puts the human being at the center, that listens, responds, and improves their experience. And that also relies on technology and communication to reach even further.”

The event was attended by renowned figures from the country’s public life, as well as prominent leaders in the healthcare sector, representatives of insurance companies, opinion leaders, and journalists.
