Opera adds support for ethereum

The fifth most used browser in the world added a tool that will allow users to manage their cryptocurrencies

This week, the Opera browser became the first of its kind to have native support for the ethereum cryptocurrency.

The latest Opera Labs version will now have a digital wallet function for cryptocurrencies. This tool will be available on all desktops.

A PIN will be used to verify the transaction on the phone, a feature that protects users from vulnerabilities.

Currently, Opera is considered the fifth most used browser in the world by at least 3.5% of people on Internet.

Thanks to these figures, thousands of browsers can connect very easily with DApps, CryptoKitties, Paradex, among others. Today, Opera only supports the storage of ethereum and its tokens ERC-20 and ERC-721.
