Venezuela offers India exports of cocoa and shrimp
Cocoa and shrimp are among the non-oil products that Venezuela plans to export to India, according to Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez during her visit to the Asian country to meet with the local Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal
In the framework of her visit to India, the Executive Vice President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguez, met with the local Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, to discuss strengthening bilateral trade relations.
Rodriguez mentioned Venezuela’s willingness to export non-oil products to India, specifically cocoa and shrimp.
The proposal is part of the South American country’s initiative to expand investments in non-traditional products, “as well as the possibilities to increase trade with the Asian country.”
The official also indicated that Venezuela will participate in the 2025 edition of the India, Latin America and the Caribbean Economic Conclave scheduled for next March.
Rodríguez’s visit is part of her participation in the III Annual Edition of Energy Week, in New Delhi, where she highlighted “Venezuela’s capacity to offer competitive products and services, highlighting strategic sectors such as oil, gas, agriculture and manufacturing.”
