Kim Jong-un would be preparing his youngest daughter to succeed him in power

Kim Jong-un's teenage daughter, young Kim Ju-ae, is believed to be being trained to be the successor in power if something were to happen to her father

A recent report from the South Korean Intelligence Service (NIS) indicates that the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, would be training his daughter Kim Ju-ae as his successor in power.

It is estimated that the North Korean marshal had three children with his partner, Ri Sol-ju, in 2010, 2013 and 2017.

“In a press conference held today, Lee Seong-kweun and Park Sun-won, members respectively of the ruling People’s Power Party (PPP) and the opposition Democratic Party (DP) and members of the parliamentary Intelligence Commission, said that the girl seems to be a strong candidate for successor taking into account how state propaganda has focused her appearances” on military and economic events.

Regarding the North Korean leader, it is speculated that he would be training his daughter as the next leader of the party and the country in view of potential heart conditions derived from her weight, which is currently estimated at 140 kilos.

However, this is an unconfirmed story, as the young woman’s age has not been verified, the father has not mentioned the issue in public, and it remains to be seen if a woman could lead North Korea given its strong patriarchal culture.
