Ripple expands its operations and opens new office in Brazil

The largest company by market capitalization Ripple, creator of the xrp cryptocurrency, announced the creation of an office in Brazil.

The intention of ​​the company is to continue with its expansion process in Latin America, according to the web portal Cointelegraph Brasil this week.

The former CEO of The Warranty Group, Luiz Antonio Sacco, will be in charge of the new office as announced by the company’s board.

Sacco said the company aims to attract more customers to its RippleNet payment network, which is focused not only on Brazil but also on to the rest of the South American continent. To date, Ripple’s payment solution has already been adopted by three clients in Brazil, including financial firms such as Santander Brasil, BeeTech Global and Banco Rendimento, the report said.

Ripple revealed its plans to implement a greater degree of accuracy in the report of volumes and sales of xrp, after a recent Bitwise report which stated that 95% of the volume of operations of bitcoin (btc) was false.
