The Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team is the first to sign a sponsorship contract with a cryptocurrency platform after signing a partnership with FuturoCoin.

The announcement was made by Aston Martin Red Bull Racing through its social networks. Once the association was signed, the FuturoCoin platform became the sponsor of the team for the 2019 season.

Christian Horner, director of the Red Bull team, said that “in recent years the increase in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies has been really remarkable, and we are delighted to be the first Formula 1 team to embrace this through our partnership. With FuturoCoin, digital tokens are surely at the forefront of technological development and we are excited to be part of this revolution.”

For his part, the co-founder of FuturoCoin Roman Ziemian expressed his satisfaction for the partnership with Red Bull Racing and affirmed: “both use speed, technology and time as their main objectives” when referring to the similarity between cryptocurrencies and the F1.

Undoubtedly, the digital currency ecosystem continues to attract dozens of investors, beyond the fluctuation in the value of both bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies such as ripple, ethereum and bitcoin cash.
