New York finally opens its own blockchain center
The space of the Economic Development Corporation of the City of New York will try to test hypothetical cases for the use of said technology
On Thursday, the new Blockchain Center of the Economic Development Corporation of the City of New York, United States, was finally inaugurated. It seeks to test hypothetical cases for the use of this technology.
This space is part of a partnership with the venture capital fund Future Perfect Ventures and the commercial organization Global Blockchain Business Council.
It has not been cleared what will be the scope that will cover these cases of use for the blockchain center that counted with the contribution of just $ 100,000 on the part of the city of New York.
It is planned that classes will also be offered, related to the subject of coding. It will also serve as a place to give lectures addressed to developers as well as to the general public.
All this comes at a time when several new cryptographic companies started firing employees due to an ongoing bear market, but this is not necessarily a concern for the center.
