Motorola launches foldable new generation of iconic Razr
The company presented the equipment, which refresh the Razr and includes folding screen among other things
Motorola announced the return of its iconic folding phone Razr in a new generation that maintains the shell-type format but introduces the flexible screen, capable of bending completely.
“From the company we have worked to discover how flexible screens can improve the way customers use their smartphones. Therefore, we have developed and tested more than 20 different prototypes during our research phases,” says part of the statement.
The shell-shaped design is the perfect solution to improve the way people use the smart computers.
This design is recovered in the new generation of Motorola Razr. On the outside, this smartphone is reinforced with stainless steel and 3D Gorilla Glass.
The patented hinge without separation allows both parts of the flexible polymer screen to remain smooth when closed and thus it is protected from dust and other elements.
In addition, Motorola redesigned the antennas to fit in a space twice as small as in other smartphones and coated the device to offer water resistance and splash-proof protection.
The equipment, as indicated in the letter, will be available from January 2020.
