Microsoft’s new app integrates Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The company created by Bill Gates developed an Office application, which is intended to provide services for the Android operating system on first stage

Microsoft launched the beta version of its new Office mobile application that combines Word, Excel and PowerPoint, which until now had to be downloaded separately, and is now available for Android users.

Android users can now download the APK of the new Office application published by Microsoft which “combines the apps of Word, Excel and PowerPoint known today” but with new capabilities that take advantage of unique strengths of mobile devices to create a simpler experience.

Microsoft underlines that this application allows to “create, edit and work in documents” together with other users and in real time. In addition, it makes it possible to store and access documents in the cloud or on the device, being able to “quickly enter” recent and frequently used files. It also allows the search of documents stored in the cloud, on the mobile, or through the company if a corporate account is used.

The application is designed for mobile devices and therefore from the company created by Bill Gates also explain how to introduce new ways to create documents “more easily” in smartphones. Users can take a photo of a document and convert it into an editable Word file “just by pressing a button”.

In addition, it is possible to transform the image of a table into an Excel spreadsheet “so you can work with the data”. As for PowerPoint, the user can directly access the photos he wants to integrate into the presentation from his mobile device.

The application integrates Office Lens tools that allow the user to create “automatically enhanced digital images of whiteboards and documents”, as it is explained in the description of the app.
