Lenovo launches two new models of laptops for gamers

The Chinese multinational extends its Legion range with the new Lenovo Legion Y540 and Y740 laptops

The Asian company Lenovo renews its Lenovo Legion notebook catalog. In addition, it also launches new peripherals as well as monitors, with functions focused on intensive uses and for long days. The company presents two new laptops, a mechanical keyboard, headphones and monitors.

Lenovo Legion Y540 seeks to satisfy those users who seek something powerful without having to be the maximum, or those who do want a equipment that does not fall short in any situation with the latest components. It is the most basic of the two, although it does not fall short in electronics.

It is a computer that integrates a 15-inch panel with a total weight of 2.3 kilograms. Although all options are FullHD panels, what can be chosen are the refresh rate and the maximum brightness, between 60 and 144 Hz and 250 and 300 nits.

The Legion Y540 incorporates an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics accompanying the eighth-generation Intel Core processor. With respect to the sound it integrates a Harman Kardon speaker and support for Dolby Atmos, looking for an enveloping and powerful sound in the reproduction of the videogame.

For its part, the Legion Y740 has two models, with screens of 15 or 17 inches with FullHD resolution at 144 hertz and support for G-SYNC technology from NVIDIA and Dolby Vision.

The monitor of this notebook has a maximum brightness of 500 nits, so it aims to give an experience with a high image quality, bright colors and that the user does not suffer watering after hours using it. In terms of graphics, the Legion Y740 is the most powerful of the two new models by incorporating the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q for the 15-inch model and the GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q for the 17-inch model.
