GOT actor joins cryptographic ecosystem
Jerome Flynn, the actor who plays Bron in the television series Game of Thrones, joined the advisory board of a vegan project which just launched its own cryptocurrency
The project aimed at building a fully functioning ecosystem to support vegans is called Vegan Nation. It is a platform in which products and services that are qualified as “100 percent cruelty-free” are exchanged.
The novelty of the program known as vegan economy tries to boost the launch of a traceable digital currency called Vegan Coin. The token was launched on pre-sale at the end of April with 10 percent of revenues to incentivize the validators they call rangers.
The actor said in a statement: “Vegan Nation is the basis of an international vegan economy that makes vegan lives simpler, cheaper and better for the Earth and the soul of each one of us. Vegan Coin will allow many more to become vegans and will therefore contribute to the reduction of our ecological footprint.”
Vegan Nation seeks to trace the origin of foods or products through its platform to guarantee consumers that they are 100 percent vegan and free of cruelty. Undoubtedly, vegan life demands high standards that are often difficult to corroborate.
The tool will include a product market, an online social network and an application for iOS and Android devices.
