Google Maps arrives with augmented reality

Google added new features that will not only allow users to interact and get involved with new technologies but will also provide useful tools to keep their day to day.

In this order of ideas, the update will set users’ reservations of flights and hotels in one place within Google Maps.

The Mountain View company emphasizes that the new function will provide users with faster information relevant to their travels, which will be grouped from the “Your places” tab in Google Maps.

People can view all their flight and hotel reservations by simply pressing the menu consisting of three gray lines and located in the upper left corner of the screen where you will find several sections such as Your places and / or Reservations, among many other aspects.

In the “Reservations” tab, users can view a list of their next trips and by selecting one of them the application will show them their reservations, even if they do not have an Internet connection.

The technology giant implemented a new beta function called Live View which gives users a guide in the real world through Augmented Reality (AR).
