Garlinghouse: “Only 1% of cryptocurrencies will survive”

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently stated that at least 99% of the world’s cryptocurrencies will be worth “0″ in the future.

Through an interview he said that today there are too many cryptocurrencies in the world and that only 1% will survive.

That small number of cryptocurrency projects will change the game and grow significantly over the decades, as they will focus on solving real problems for real customers, Garlinghouse said.

The CEO of Ripple also mentioned that few will be the cryptocurrencies that will be trained to meet the needs of customers.

“Every time there is a new market, there are many people who run into that market and try to show that they can solve a problem, which can meet the needs of customers”, he said.

On the other hand, the entrepreneur spoke of the so-called “transaction volatility” of the World Society of Interbank Financial Telecommunications (SWITCH), which said that this phenomenon represents a “calculation of time and volatility”.
